Alexandra Edelman Named Co-Chair of VBA Bankruptcy Section
On Wednesday, February 17, 2021, Alex Edelman will be joining the Hon. Colleen Brown, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Vermont, and Donald Hayes, Esq. in presenting an overview of bankruptcy to the Vermont Small Business Development Center. This program will provide a basic overview of bankruptcy relief, with an emphasis on the many different types of reorganizations and restructurings the Bankruptcy Code makes available to small businesses. The panel will discuss options available to all sorts of businesses: DBAs, sole proprietorships, corporations, and farming operations. They will also offer practical insights including the step by step process of obtaining this relief, the timetable, the costs, and the risks of each option.
