Alexa L. Blaise is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses primarily on employment law, criminal defense, and family law matters. She joined the firm in 2023 as a paralegal, prior to becoming an associate.
Alexa received her B.S. from Champlain College, focusing on legal studies. She later attending Vermont Law School, where she completed an externship with the Chittenden County Public Defender’s Office providing assistance and representation to needy persons charged with serious crimes. In law school, she focused her studies on criminal law, restorative justice principles, and trial practice techniques.
Alexa has a passion for helping clients from all walks of life which came at a young age. Growing up with a refugee parent, she aspired to pursue a career where she could zealously advocate for those in the community. She sees being an attorney as a way to stand up for others and believes a good attorney will not only know the law, but will also actively listen, empathize, problem solve, and become a liaison between each client and the legal process. She believes that whatever struggles you may be facing, you should not have to face them alone.
