Jeff Johnson has announced his retirement from Primmer, effective October 1, 2024. Any new inquiries can be forwarded to Attorney Ryan Gadapee at rgadapee@primmer.com
Jeff joined our firm in the 1990s and has been an integral part of our captive practice and firm management.
As a shareholder for Primmer & Piper, Jeff played a crucial role in merging Primmer & Piper with Eggleston and Cramer. Following the merger, Jeff served in the role of Managing Director helping to shape our firm’s culture and strategic direction. His commitment to excellence, ethical practice, and client service has set a high standard for all of us. On a personal note, I cannot remember a single occasion when I was met with anything but a smile and warmth when crossing paths with Jeff.
In addition to putting Primmer on the map as the leading law firm for captive insurance counsel, Jeff also served as General Counsel and Secretary for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont from 2002-2005, Interim General Counsel for National Life Insurance Company, Commissioner of Banking, Insurance and Securities, State of Vermont, 1990-1992, Deputy Commissioner of Insurance, State of Vermont, 1988-1989, General Counsel, Department of Banking, Insurance and Securities, State of Vermont, 1986, and Assistant Attorney General, State of Vermont, 1983-1985.
We are grateful for Jeff’s years of leadership and service and the lasting impact he will leave on Primmer.
