Melissa McGuane Vale is an attorney in Primmer Piper’s Washington, D.C. office.  With over two decades of experience, Melissa’s practice focuses on insurance coverage counseling, claims handling and litigation on behalf of professional liability insurance company clients.  Melissa also serves as Claims Counsel for a risk retention group. 

Prior to joining Primmer Piper, Melissa worked in the Washington, D.C. and Chicago, IL offices of multiple national law firms, where she represented clients in a variety of complex civil litigation, including insurance coverage matters, antitrust class actions and securities class actions.
