The Main Street of the Mountains
The quintessential New England town of Littleton, New Hampshire sits on the northern tier of the White Mountains, along the banks of the Ammonoosuc River. Littleton is famous for the town candy store, “Chutters”, claiming to have to longest candy counter in the world, as well as the statue of the fictional character, Pollyanna. The author, Eleanor H. Porter, who created the notoriously upbeat character in 1913, was a Littleton native.
Littleton has long served as the center of commerce in the White Mountain and Great North Woods regions, with a history of mills and manufacturing. Today, Littleton continues to build industry while fostering a vibrant arts community. It remains the economic center of the region "above the notches" and is a hub for summer and winter travelers to New Hampshire's world-class recreational destinations.
Our office, located on Main Street (right next to the town library where the Pollyanna statue is) focuses on corporate work, financial services and banking, real estate, trusts and wills, community association law, and municipal work for towns and cities in New Hampshire, as well as public finance.
