Ryan Long to Present at Vermont Bar Association Bankruptcy CLE
The Firm Nominates Three Attorneys to Class A Shareholder Status
Attorney Gary Franklin has been named the Managing Shareholder and Board Chair of the Firm. We are also pleased to welcome new board members, Alexandra Edelman and Kevin Henry.
Gary has spent the last 21 years building a successful litigation practice in Vermont, having previously worked in New York and California. He also previously served as the President of both the Chittenden County Bar and the Vermont Bar Associations.
When asked about the year ahead, Gary said, “I look forward to taking on the new responsibilities that come with being board chair, and welcome Alexandra and Kevin to the management team. In the last year, I witnessed all of our attorneys and staff take on tremendous challenges while adapting to the new and uncertain world with grace and ease. I am confident that regardless of the challenges ahead, our Firm will continue its high level of service and professionalism.
New board members Alexandra Edelman and Kevin Henry will fill the board seats of former board member Doug Wolinsky and Board Chair Gary Burt. Both Gary Burt and Doug Wolinsky served on the board for several years and played significant roles in making the firm a positive and rewarding place for attorneys and staff to work.
Alexandra is an experienced litigator and commercial attorney, and mentor to many at the Firm. Kevin has established a successful criminal defense and litigation practice that serves clients in Vermont and D.C. Attorneys across nearly every practice area look to both Kevin and Alexandra for their legal expertise.
